BTS has achieved significant success on both domestic and international weekly charts with their fifth studio album, 'Arirang'.

As reported by the album sales tracking platform Hanteo Chart on the 30th, BTS's latest album 'Arirang' has topped both the weekly world chart and album chart for the tracking period of March 23-29. The album reached the number one spot just three days post-release on March 20 and maintained this position for two consecutive weeks.

A preview article by American music media outlet Billboard, published on the 30th, states that 'Arirang' has secured the top position on the main album chart, 'Billboard 200', dated April 4. The album entered the chart with 641,000 album units, marking the highest weekly performance for a group album since unit tracking began in December 2014. Out of these, 532,000 were pure album sales, including both physical and digital purchases, setting a new record for weekly sales for a group album in over ten years.

BTS also achieved high rankings on global music charts. The group led the weekly charts of the global audio and music streaming service Spotify during the tracking period of March 20-26, securing top positions in 'Weekly Top Albums', 'Weekly Top Songs', and 'Weekly Top Artists' global charts. The title track 'SWIM' achieved the number one position on the 'Weekly Top Songs Global', with all 14 tracks from the new album entering the top 30.

The song 'SWIM' held the number one spot on Spotify's 'Daily Top Songs Global' and Apple Music's 'Top 100 Global' for nine days (March 20-28) and seven days (March 23-29), respectively. All tracks from the album were also present on the latest chart rankings of both platforms. Even ten days post-release, the album, including the title track, continues to experience widespread popularity among global music enthusiasts.

BTS is scheduled to perform in the 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG'' at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, on April 9, 11, and 12. In October, the tour will include stadium concerts in South America, with performances in Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil. All 46 shows, including those in Goyang, as well as North America, Europe, and Tokyo, Japan, have sold out, demonstrating the group's strong ticket-selling capability.
